Our best guess is the previous owner bought it as their "Sunday Best" for church potlucks or maybe for a shindig that never quite made it onto the calendar. Or heck, maybe they were just holdin’ onto it for when the cows came home. Either way, this shirt's been treated better than Granny’s cast-iron skillet, and it’s practically brand new.
