From Parade Ground to Everyday Duty
The Pike Brothers 1940 Service Chino in Leesville Khaki is based on the classic service trousers of the 1940s. Back then, chinos had to pull double duty: comfortable and practical enough for field use, yet smart enough to form part of a more formal uniform.
That explains the traditional high waist and roomy, loose fit. There is plenty of freedom to move, but give them a wash and a proper press and they clean up remarkably well. Pike Brothers uses an authentic-style 320 g cavalry twill made from 100% cotton, giving the trousers a substantial feel and plenty of old-school character.
