This is a true 1950s varsity jacket from Lasley Knitting Co. out of Seattle, WA, and it’s got the kind of beat-up patina that only seven decades of coaching, pacing, yelling, and game-day heartbreaks could deliver. 💥

This ain’t no polished showroom piece. It’s cracked. It’s worn. It’s stained. But you know what? It’s also lived—and thanks to some fine stitchin’ from the Lasso Repair Department, it’s ready to live another lifetime or two. 💪

🧶 About the Maker: Lasley Knitting Co.

Lasley Knitting was a Seattle-based sportswear and uniform manufacturer known for producing some of the finest wool garments for athletes, schools, and workwear distributors across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. In the 40s–60s, they were the go-to for letterman jackets, cheer sweaters, and teamwear. Jackets like this were often custom-ordered and stitched to spec, usually with school names or roles like—yep, you guessed it—Coach.

Tag reads 13, which back in the 50s was a youth/teenager size, but by modern standards, we’d call it a Small with a roomy fit.
