Founded in 1897 by tailor Samuel Christenfeld, H Bar C started as a New York tailoring house before expanding west to Hollywood, eventually clothing Western film stars, crooners, and country legends. Over the years, they dressed icons like John Wayne, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Elvis Presley, shaping the very idea of Western glamour on stage and on screen.

In the mid-1990s the brand stepped into a hiatus, pausing production while their vintage garments became sought-after collector’s pieces. H Bar C officially returned to the scene in 2016, rekindling the legacy with modern craftsmanship and the same classic Western aesthetics that made the brand legendary.
