Founded in 1897 by tailor Samuel Christenfeld, H Bar C evolved from a New York tailoring house into Hollywood’s premier Western outfitter. They dressed icons like John Wayne, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Elvis Presley, helping to define the Western look across films, music and stagecraft.

After a hiatus that began in the mid-1990s, H Bar C made a triumphant return in 2016, bringing updated fits and fabrics to their timeless designs while honoring the heritage that made them famous.
