The Filson Heritage Cotton Down Jacket in Black delivers proper cold-weather insulation without making you feel like you've climbed inside a sleeping bag. Its lightweight 153 g/m² cotton shell is paired with 650-fill-power duck down for an excellent warmth-to-weight ratio.

The 100% cotton outer has been given a custom wash inspired by vintage pieces from Filson's archives, creating a softer, broken-in feel from the start. Inside, lightweight down traps warmth without unnecessary bulk, making this an easy jacket to wear on its own or as part of a winter layering system.

The front pockets use quick-drying synthetic insulation rather than down, keeping hands warm while reducing bulk across the front. A ribbed collar and cuffs help keep cold air out, while the clean hem maintains a simple profile. The two-way front zipper also makes life considerably easier when sitting, driving or bending down.
