Now this is proper cold-weather workwear. This Indigofera Sherpa-Lined Denim Chore Coat combines dark indigo denim with a warm sherpa lining and a contrasting black corduroy collar – a combination that looks like it has walked straight out of an old American hardware store.

The longer chore-coat cut gives it plenty of coverage, while four generous patch pockets keep the front suitably utilitarian. Brass-tone buttons, reinforced pocket corners and Indigofera branding finish things off nicely. The denim has already started developing some subtle character, with plenty more fading still ahead.
