🦅 True Grit, Full Bloom

Meet one of three chapters in our slow-burn Lasso bandana lineup: Field Green. (The others being Vintage Blue and Rust.) From the very first glance, this colorway carries a calm, grounded presence. It is the kind of green you would expect to see out where things get used, worn, and earned. Because of its earthy and muted tone, it fits the spirit of this bandana right down to the bone.

Just like the rest of the herd, this bandana took us a full 18 months to get right. Along the way, we adjusted tones, refined the print, and obsessed over the fabric feel. As a result, everything finally came together exactly as intended. We did not rush a single step, and now it shows.

🧵 Fabric, Size & Feel

A proper bandana deserves proper cloth. We didn’t cut corners.

• 100% cotton, professionally printed in one of Italy’s finest factories
• Silky smooth, soft, and lightweight, with a natural drape
• 60 × 60 cm size — larger than the usual 50 × 50 cm bandana

Thanks to the lightweight cotton, this bandana doesn’t bulk up around your neck. Instead, it ties clean and stays put. Because of the larger size, the tails fall just right and frame the knot nicely. In short, it wears easy and looks sharp all day long.

🎨 Design & Details

This design has a real Wild Rag feel to it, and inspired by the tradition of western floral patterns typically seen on leather tooled items such as western saddles and belts. At the center, a strong eagle spreads its wings, gripping a banner that reads “True Grit”, referring to courage, resolve, long-term passion, preseverance and strengt of character. In Finnish, we have one word for it all: "SISU".

It’s a design that rewards a closer look and keeps revealing itself the more you wear it.
