Founded in 1897 by New York tailor Samuel Christenfeld, H Bar C grew from a traditional tailoring house into Hollywood’s go-to source for Western elegance. Over the decades, they dressed legends like John Wayne, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers, and Elvis Presley. By doing that, they defined the look of Western film, stage and culture across generations.

The brand took a hiatus beginning in the mid-1990s, but they triumphantly returned in 2016. They are committed once again to the craftsmanship, style and showmanship that made H Bar C so iconic.
