Here's a mighty fine meeting of Japanese denim and American manufacturing. These Tellason Ladbroke Grove Slim Tapered Selvedge Jeans are cut from 13.5oz Kaihara selvedge denim and sewn in San Francisco – serious denim credentials from both sides of the Pacific.

The Ladbroke Grove is Tellason's low-rise, slim-tapered fit, keeping things trim through the leg before tapering toward the hem. Construction is equally no-nonsense, with a button fly, reinforced back pockets, heavyweight front pocket bags, chainstitched hems and a Tanner Goods leather patch out back.

🇯🇵 About Kaihara Denim

Founded in Hiroshima, Japan in 1893, Kaihara started out producing traditional indigo-dyed kasuri fabric before turning its expertise toward denim. In 1970, the company completed Japan's first rope-dyeing machine, helping lay the groundwork for the Japanese denim industry we denim hounds know and love today.

Kaihara now handles spinning, dyeing, weaving and finishing within its own production system, combining generations of indigo know-how with modern denim manufacturing. That's some mighty fine pedigree hiding in a pair of blue jeans.
