Lee Union Made Western Denim Shirt – Vintage Cowboy Classic 🤠🪕
Well, butter my biscuit — here’s a shirt with more cowboy soul than a honky-tonk jukebox. This vintage Lee Western denim snap shirt once belonged to a Canadian cowboy who sure knew how to pick his rodeo wear. With its Union Made tag, pearly snap buttons, and rugged denim fade, it’s got grit, charm, and a story or two stitched right in.
👕 Union Made means this shirt was built in a factory where the workers were part of a labor union — back when American (and sometimes Canadian) garment makers were still cranking out top-quality Western wear. No “Made in…” line on this tag, but chances are it came out of USA or north of the border sometime in the late 1980s or early 1990s.
The shirt’s got all the cowboy trimmings: pointed yokes, dual flap chest pockets with the classic Lee tag, and a sturdy denim build that’s softened up just right with age. It’s broken in but still tough as rawhide.
Now, one thing to note — there’s a small hole on the left sleeve. Could’ve been a barbed wire scrape while chasing down cattle, or maybe just a wild rodeo night. 🐂 Either way, it doesn’t hurt the wear, just adds a little frontier character.
